Mini Dotz are diamond painting at its most collectible. Each kit contains four 5" × 5" designs that work together as a series. When you're done, you have a ready-made gallery wall moment. Made with our smaller 2mm mini diamonds, you get exceptional detail in a small area. With an intermediate skill level and around 12,000 DOTZ® per kit, they offer a satisfying challenge without the commitment of a large canvas.

Mini Dotz® use 2mm gems — smaller than the standard 2.8mm gems found in regular canvas kits. That smaller size is what makes Mini Dotz® special: more gems fit on a smaller canvas, which means you get significantly more detail and sharper shading than you'd typically expect from a 5"×5" design.
It comes down to gem size. Standard diamond painting gems are 2.8mm, but Mini Dotz® gems are just 2mm. That smaller footprint means more gems fit into the same amount of space. More gems per square inch means finer gradients, sharper edges, and more intricate shading that you simply can't achieve at a larger gem size on a small canvas. Think of it like image resolution; the smaller the pixel, the more detail you can pack in. The result is a 5" × 5" canvas that looks far more sophisticated than its size would suggest.
Each set comes with four 5" × 5" color-coded printed canvases, pre-sorted 2mm gems in zip-top bags (each labeled with the gem color), two stylus pens with soft grips, two craft trays, a wax caddy with two pieces of wax, and detailed instructions. Everything you need to complete all four canvases is right in the box.
Diamond paintings can be framed like traditional artwork. Some people trim the canvas edges and mount it on backing board before framing.
